Matt Chenoweth

My name is Matt Chenoweth. I am a ceramic artist. This blog is a digital record of the products created through my passion of the ceramic arts and processes. Earth is my medium and fire is my tool. As I have been inspired by my teachers and experiences, my hope is that the information shared through this blog can help or inspire others. Ceramics can be a humbling endeavor. The inherent characteristics of clay can be problematic enough while one is seems to be tentatively finding their way. I believe that the open sharing of information will ultimately lead to a higher understanding and appreciation of art in society. I hope that through the promotion of ceramics as a fine art people will understand the value and necessity  of the hand-made. Thanks for reading.
